WATER-JET CUTTING

A water-jet is a tool capable of slicing into metal or other materials using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure, or a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. It is the preferred method when the materials being cut are sensitive to the high temperatures generated by other methods.

PLASMA CUTTING

Plasma cutting is a process that cuts through electrically conductive materials by means of an accelerated jet of hot plasma. Typical materials cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass and copper, although other conductive metals may be cut as well.

HEAT TREATING

The controlled heating and cooling of metals to alter their physical and mechanical properties without changing the product shape. We ensure that every heat treat order conforms to your specifications and other requirements through appropriate testing and inspection techniques.

GRINDING

Grinding is an abrasive machining process that uses a grinding wheel as the cutting tool. It can produce very fine finishes and very accurate dimensions; yet in mass production contexts it can also rough out large volumes of metal quite rapidly.

TREPANNING

Trepanning is a drilling process that leaves a core. Trepanning is a deep hole drilling process that has broad application over many industries. In many cases, trepanning is meant to be a roughing operation to be honed for finish, or machined further. In other cases, the trepanned hole is fit for use 'as-drilled'.

TURNING

Turning is a metalworking process by which a disc or tube of metal is rotated at high speed and formed into an axially symmetric part. Spinning can be performed by hand or by a CNC lathe.
